Oh, Where has the month gone...

I can not believe that we are almost done with January! Just look at my baby ticker. I have 60 days left of being massively huge. I can't wait to have this child. I am so uncomfortable and I feel like if I can make it 60 more days, I can do anything. Well, since I have not blogged since the beginning of the month, I thought it would be a good idea to give a mini update of all our little events that have occured, so at least I would remember. My memory is getting worse by the day.

Preschool

In the beginning of this month, I got a call from a preschool that I had been on the waiting list since October for Julianna. It was just 2 days a week for 2 hours. It is the same one Elijah went to and I thought since Julianna turned 3 and she was potty trained, why not? I wanted her to get the same wonderful experiences that Elijah received. So, on her first day, we got her all dressed in her cutest and took her in. She knew right away where she was and it tickled her to know it was her turn for school. I took her to meet her teacher, Miss Peggy and I couldn't believe what Jules did next. She actually hugged Miss Peggy. I don't think her teacher knew what to think about that. I am sure she doesn't get that reaction everyday. So, I didn't have a hard time leaving since she felt so comfortable. That means every Tuesday and Thursday I get a whole hour and a half to myself. It is not much in the grand scheme of things, but at least I can go to the grocery store and not spend more time putting things back in the cart after my two little helpers fill it to the brim with unnecessary junk.

Visit to Jon's Incredible Pizza

We have heard so much about this place and knew it was time to go check it out. Oh, how much fun. It was Chucky Cheese on Steroids. It had an awesome buffet that I was even suprised with. We went with alot of friends after Music Makers and it was the best time to go. There wasn't that many people there. It had tons of things for the kids to do and I only spent 10 dollars on the credits to do things with. It was much more affordable than I thought. Just the look on the kids faces when they saw all the fun stuff was worth every penny.

Oh, What a wonderful world!

Merry go round Bliss!
Almost as fun as the real thing. Roller Coaster Virtual Reality!

Friends to the End!

Name Finally Decided

After many name changes of this new arrival, I was getting very frusterated with myself. I wanted a name decided on because I feel like the real bonding comes in play when you know what you are going to name them. I had names for both of my other children once I knew the sex of that child. So, not having a name set in stone was really driving me nuts. Granted it is part of the fun to pick out the name but after the 5th time changing it, I knew it was time to start getting serious. My name list according to when I came up with them starting at one...

1. Adrian
2. Analeigh
3. Gemma
4. Alexa

So, one day I was watching August Rush. Kerri Russell is the mother in that movie. Well, I have seen this movie before a while ago, but when I heard her name in this movie, that was it. I knew I had found my name. The best thing about this name is the way it sounds coming from an Irish man. SO NICE! But, I knew it could hold it's own in the English accent as well, so I knew if she didn't meet an Irish man in her future, it would be ok. So, the name is...

Lyla Rose Smith

So, that is it. I am done. It is the most fun I have had picking out a name and I am completly happy and satisfied with what I was able to find. Thank you, August Rush and Kerri Russell.

Love it! Your kids are so cute. I can't believe little julie bug is off to school already. That baby is going to be here before you know it. I can't wait to meet little lyla. I love that name and have thought about using it myself but have no one to use it on, you lucky lady!
