Six Flags Numero Seis!

Whatz Up Doc! Elijah bonding with Bugs.

Another day at Six Flags. I know, we have been numerous times this season. I have to admit this day was a little more on the stressful side. First off, I will never go on a Saturday again! It was crazy from the start from the car ride down. From my house, it takes an hour. On this day, 2 hours! If anything gets my blood boiling, it is traffic. There seemed to be no end to it. I didn't know where people were going. Why is it that everyone has to be going somewhere on a Saturday anyway. Don't people just stay home anymore. Just kidding. Anyway, it was 2 by the time we got to the park. One redeeming factor is that we got to park at the fairgrounds which is so much closer to the park than the actual parking lot, so that shaved off about 20 or 30 minutes off our day. The park obviously was packed with people and the rides lines were way to long. Even for the kid rides, it was a wait which I find riduculous for them who can not wait very long. The weather was extremely hot at the peak of the day, which during the week, I checked the weather report and it said it was going to be 79. It was 95 when we first got there. The kids cheeks were a great shade of red for most of the day. Oh, and I forgot to mention, during the car ride there, Elijah drank a Gatorade when we were at home and had to pee 4 times! A whole new record for him. So, that was a good 20 minutes on top of the traffic.
So, a few key points that was fun for the park was Julianna got to feed the Elephant Tava a banana. Her face was priceless. It was excitment and fear all at the same time.

Elijah fell asleep like an infant for an hour due to his 11 o clock bedtime the night before.
And lastly, we got to go with our great friends the Nielsen's and Svetts and some new friends the Pueblo's. It was so nice to spend time with them realizing how fun they are and hopefully we will get to do alot more things with them in the future.

Lyla has been here more than any other place in her life. A Flagger Veteran!
A Smith Sandwich!
Trying to catch some shade and zzzzzz!
